Rabbitgoo No-Pull Dog Harness

The Rabbitgoo No-Pull harness is so popular it features as an Amazon Choice product on Amazon’s site.

The Basics

Overall design quality is great. It looks good and is made from quality material. The harness uses a mesh lining with soft padding underneath for comfort. Material is made from breathable nylon.

One strap located on the neck and the other on the front. We noticed the straps were a little too rigid when we tested it which was a little annoying – but not a major problem.

Like many harnesses it uses a quick release buckle to put the harness on and take it off.

There are reflective (hi-vis) stripes on the harness which helps to locate your dog in the dark, for crossing roads at night etc.

Used in combination with a good dog seatbelt, this harness is well designed for your car.

Is it a no-pull harness?

As with similar (good) non pulling harnesses there are metal leash/lead attachments. The first is located at the back and can be used for normal dog walking. The second is located at the front (chest area). Usually this would be used for greater control of your dog as well as training. For example the HALTI Training Lead has two trigger clips which can be used on either one or both attachments when required.

The other aspect of some no tug harness is that the harness tends to tighten when the dog pulls. This can be a blessing or a curse as in some instances this pinches and hurts the dog. The Rabbitgoo no-pull harness doesn’t do this. Saying that, it’s still a great harness for dogs which pull – but if you have a real pulling issue – a little more research may be required when selecting a harness.

There are five different sizes available: X-Small, Small, Medium, Large and X-Large. As ever, you can check our guide to measuring your dog harness before you buy.

Overall

The Rabbitgoo No-Pull harness is a well designed, very popular and reliable dog harness. The front-range feature is a great addition for training and dogs who pull. It is only held back by a few limitations which may make it not ideal for every dog.
